This bug has been in NEEDINFO status with no change for at least
6 months. Please provide the requested information as soon as
possible and mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED. Due to regular bug
tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDINFO status with
no change in 30 days the QA team will close the bug as INSUFFICIENTDATA
due to lack of needed information.

I cannot reproduce the problem in Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice
Community
Build ID: 4ac9032163cf55c160145373e7c41741c9c339ca
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL
In that version the default space is large enough for "VIII."

Please try with a newer Version of LibreOffice. You should update anyway
because of a security fix.

Your picture shows that the dot after VII is aligned with the I of previous
Item, so the Item following VII. can't be aligned.
On the contrary, if the tab is big enough all the items on your screenshot will
be aligned vertically.

Not a bug for me.
