That object is a so called "SmartArt". Import of SmartArt is only partly implemented. There are currently some efforts to improve it, but that will not be available soon. You could do these: * Ask the author to provide the presentation in PDF format in addition. That is a simple "Save As" in PowerPoint. * Customize your LibreOffice and add the command "Autofit Text" to your Standard toolbar for example. Then select the object and click on command "Autofit Text". This command reduces the rendered font size, so that the text is inside the shape and you can read it.
