            Bug ID: 152939
Summary: File Name, Saving, Opening Problem
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: zynd...@hotmail.com

I'm sorry I don't know the right way to describe the problem. My understanding
of programming is very limited.

When I click on a file, or I use the FILE drop down menu and select RECENT
DOCUMENT, the Calc file may open without a name. At first I thought I had
somehow saved a file as a template and I was opening it instead of the
spreadsheet I was working on.

But when I go to save, either clicking the disc icon or use the FILE drop down
menu to SAVE or SAVE AS, it brings up a window to save the file as if it's
never been saved before. It shows no files in the folder. I type in the name
and click save and it asks if I want to overwrite the file (it's not showing.)
I overwrite and for the session I can save. It resets when I close the file.

I've been using computers, and various office programs, since the 90s. I've
seen a lot of errors. As far as I know, I've never seen this one before.
