It might just be 2 unrelated issues (color of focused cell, and copy+paste incident). Regarding the color around the cell that has the current focus, this might just be (quote): "Cell cursor now uses the system's highlight color instead of the default font color to improve visibility tdf#142121 (Natalia Gavrilova)" which was introduced in LO 7.3: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/7.3#General_improvements_2 This is just a suspicion/hunch, as I don't have a real indication that what you are actually seeing is this.
