Thank you for this information, Vincent!
I attached the document here.
I tested and I could reproduce your issue:
1. Open attachment
2. Save and confirm using DOC format
3. File > Reload
Result: text disappears, 4 frames out of 8 are lost (see in the Navigator
sidebar).
On:
Version: 7.4.5.1 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 9c0871452b3918c1019dde9bfac75448afc4b57f
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
I did not need to use an external storage device.
I could also reproduce in a recent master build, so the issue is still here:
Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 03f58d6af52bab05545833980cca835a3df0949a
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
Already the case in:
Version: 6.0.0.3
Build ID: 64a0f66915f38c6217de274f0aa8e15618924765
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2;
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); Calc: group
I also tested saving as DOCX, and the text remained but was moved to the
top-left quadrant. Let's keep this report focused on the DOC issue.
