You can make a backup easy with Writer. Simply select File - Save a Copy to
keep a copy of your document while still being able to work on the original.
OR
With Writer, making a backup of your document is simple. Just use the "Save a
Copy" option in the File menu to create a copy of your work while still being
able to edit the original.
OR
Back up your document with ease using Writer. Select "Save a Copy" from the
File menu to create a duplicate while continuing to work on the original.
OR
Create a backup of your document in Writer by selecting File - "Save a Copy"
and continue editing the original.
The last one seems simpler/better.
