This is most likely bug 92190. The issue is resolved in LibreOffice 5.4.4 and 6

Regarding the problem with the WP printing only in landscape mode (comments 41

with 5.3.7.2, my current version of LibreOffice. I use a MacBook Air running OS

Prints okay with OS 10.12.6 but only prints in Landscape mode regardless of
setting.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present on a currently supported version of
LibreOffice
(5.4.1 or 5.3.6 https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the version of
LibreOffice and
your operating system, and any changes you see in the bug behavior

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave
a short comment that includes your version of LibreOffice and Operating System

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3)

http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to "inherited from OOo";
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add "regression" to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Sorry, my mistake.
You have to apply some change to the template and save/reload it.
Afterwards the multiple-page-printing is okay.

Interesting problem. On OS X 10.8.4, LO 4.1.0.2.0

1. I hit cmd + p to print this document and
2. select (in the native OS X printing dialogue) to print All
3. in the preview I still only see 1 page (despite this document having 3
pages)
4. click cancle
5. another printing dialogue opens up
6. select all yet again
7. two pages can be printed this time (despite this doc being 3 pages).

More odd behavior can be seen when opting to print only one page. Usually, in
the native OS X printing dialogue, I'd be able to select page 1 or 2 or 3. With
this document with the up and down arrows I can navigate to page 13 or whatever
number I want to. Makes no sense.

Craziest printing dialogue behavior I've seen so far. Christian, you get a
high-score for that. :P

Seems to be a senior bug dating from 2011.

I could not find the workaround mentioned in comment 19 (there Comment 8)
because this document is not existing any longer.

Can this bug be marked as still existing in 4.1.0.2 and not as historical?

A Writer issue, isn’t it? Therefore adjusted the Component field.

Also reset the Version field according to comment #0. Please note that the
Version field should always contain the FIRST version in which a bug is known
to exist, and NOT the last one.

--- Comment #25 from Björn Michaelsen bjoern.michael...@canonical.com

Since all new unconfirmed bugs start in state UNCONFIRMED now and old
unconfirmed bugs were moved to NEEDINFO with a explanatory comment, all bugs
promoted above those bug states to NEW and later are automatically confirmed
making the CONFIRMED whiteboard status redundant. Thus it will be removed.
