We discussed the topic in the design meeting and agreed on WFM.

OK for me.

( I would think of adding Ctrl+Shift+Enter for column break, but see that it
already is there (obviously I seldom work in columns :p ) )

Don't see the issue here. If the page has columns you also can't go to the
second column when there is no text or a manual break. Similarly, you cannot go
to the second page without adding a page break.

We do not list special breaks in any context menu. The user has to know the
short cut or use the main menu. So it's also not required here.

My take: WFM

Created attachment 144697
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144697=edit
contextmenu section

It's definitely not a intuitive behavior.

attached you see how it will look when you have it in the context menu. But
there is another issue. this item is shown not only when you are in an section
area. but that can be fixed.

In general I don't think it's good UX that you can't switch to another section
by mouse.

I would agree (reproducible with LO 4.4.0.0.beta1).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open WRITER
2. Go to INSERT - SECTION - tab COLUMNS
3. Uncheck Evenly Distribute Contents To All Columns and select the three
column section and click INSERT
4. Write any word and now try to get to the second column

- Impossible to get to the next columns with a left mouse click or the right
mouse click context menu, this is not intuitive and the user gets stuck and
maybe frustrated

Thanks for new idea. I agree that idea is good.

PS: users also use field CC list for voting. This method is quick and simple,
though not precise.
