I need this feature for the update of the gallery items, cause with blur shadow
I can improve gallery items a lot. 

In additon MSO save blured shadow so it would be very cool if LibO can import
the shadow correct.

I'd love to see this too, especially in Draw which is otherwise an awesome
drawing application. I end up having to do the shadow in Gimp, which takes
extra time. It would be wonderful to be able to do blurred shadows directly.

In the last version of LibreOffice (5.1.1.3) the shadow received a transparency
option, which is a step in the right direction. Having some fuziness in the
shadow is what really can change the look of a presentation and add a 'pro'
feeling to it. Many thanks in advance to anyone who has the abilities to add
this feature in LibreOffice and wants to work on this.

I know It's not important from the technical point of view. But for user
experience this feature would be great improvement. I'm waiting on that for
years now. It's the one feature I'm really missing.

Smooth shadows make outputs look much more elegant. So please consider
implementing it.
