The Invalid cursor position error message has been seen in past versions of ODBC/LO, and even with OOo, so the problem did probably exist at one point, it is just that no one can reproduce it now. So I have tried the following steps with a MySQL-database and ODBC-connection. 1. Opening Libre Office Calc 2. do File- New- Database 3. choose to connect to an existing database (select ODBC) 4. select the ODBC data source 5. write the name of the user under which we connect and put a check password required 6. make the connection test OK 7. Register the database in Libre Office 8. open Libre Office Calk 9. View- Data Sources 10. see there our database and tables in it but the data in the tables do not see I could see the data in the tables of the connected database. In Base and also in Calc with the database browser. Do you see data in the table, if you connect with Base directly?
