1- I have reverted version from 4.1.0.4 to 3.5.6.2
please note that the version field should always indicate the earliest release
where the issue appears which is 3.5.6.2 according to your first post.

2- basically the bug is that the 2nd letter changes aspect after entering other
letters... I tested the demo .odp file and I see that you cancel the 3rd letter
the 2nd one changes aspect. so I think issue is confirmed. setting status to
NEW.

3- is this issue happening just in Impress text boxes or does it affects
digiting such asian letters in Writer as well?

Tested with Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89)

The Bug has got worse.


Type 3 'a' keys with SA (Sanskrit INSCRIPT) keyboard. Change the Kryboard to KA
(Kannada) type key 'a'. The displayed text gets scrambled and more so with
second  'a'.
