I save my large study-resume file made with Writer as a .rft file. But now i cannot open this file anymore. Not in MS-Word on Win 7 and on Win 8 and not with Libre-office and i got this error (in dutch: LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 Algemene fout Algemene invoer-/uitvoerfout OK I've tried to rename in to .doc but that didn't work also. Maybe someone can help ? I found two directories ~/.config/libreoffice/3/user/ and ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/. I wasn't quite sure what to rename, so I renamed them ~/.config/libreoffice/3-old/user-old/ and ~/.config/libreoffice/4-old/user-old/ respectively. Started up Libreoffice and it created a new ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/, but the error still appeared as before. I downloaded and ran the update file LibreOffice_4.0.0_Win_x86.msi. I did not uninstall version 3.5.5 first. I have used this method to update LibreOffice and OpenOffice in the past with no problems.
