I send you a picture where you see the difference between the two versions, it
is also referred to the color of the background, in libreoffice 4.0.2 setting
the color of the paper is on automatic settings are the same for verisone 3.6.
Same problem in libre office and 4.0.3.3 Win7 Prof 32-bit and Vista 32-bit home

I see what is the difference in your screenshoot, but I can not reproduce in
mine computer.

Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solve strange issues.

you tried to set the background in windows with RGB 248,248,248 and set the
view options of calculation shows colored cells, the cells A5: D14 (the ones
with light blue text) you should see white, and not like the rest of the other
cells . I also tried to set the background color of the windows of heaven, this
heavenly cells are seen with version 3.6, you always see white with version 4.0
even if set background color automatic document

the file is always the same, the problem has both decrees with the files with
earlier versions of libreoffice that with the 4.0 version of libreoffice, what
I posted is an example but it happens with all the files. However I have
noticed that if I change the background color of windows and I put red (for
example) by opening a new document in libreoffice 3.6 cells I see them all red,
mentere opening libreoffice 4.0 cells I see white even if background is in
libreoffice is set automatically for the two versions. I want to add that in
both computers I tried an Nvidia video card (under 580 and gt8600m). I enclose
a picture related to the problem

opening it with version 3.6 cells with blue text (with screen viewing
experience when you chose a light gray as background colere) you see the white,
while 4.0 cell's fill you see the same color of the background (light gray)

Win7x64Ultimate
Versión 3.6.6.1 (ID de compilación: a61ad19)
Version 4.0.3.3 (Build ID: 0eaa50a932c8f2199a615e1eb30f7ac74279539)

Changed the background default style in both versions to Blue gray, I can not
see differences.
