It seems to me that I did not understand sufficiently the difference between All Templates and MyTemplates. OK, fair enough. However when I use Save as template I still cannot see the name of other templates for the same application; thus, if I don't remember the exact name of template I want to replace, I cannot do this is in straight forward manor. This functionality of the old template manager was excellent. I looked today again into the templates, it seems that I understand it a bit better now where I find and save template.
