Thanks for the work around with many more # in front; this works. I understand the format code # ##0 should also create a thousand seperator for all more than 6 digits. Thus I regard it as a bug. Please let me know if my understanding is wrong. It might be a good idea to enable overwriting of thousand separators from country/language setting. My 30 years of experience in international environments taught me that a space as a thousand separator and a point as a decimal point is the best understood.
