I have not adapted or had cause to adapt the formulas since the original bug report. I can't reproduce with: Win7x64Ult. Version 4.0.6.2 (Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24) Try if changing the option in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc/Formula - Detailed calculation settings - Custom - Details - Treat empty string as zero, has any effect. Not for me but it is easy to verify.
