 To reproduce:
 
 1. put templates of Writer- (*.ott), Calc- (*.ots) and Impress- (*.otp) and
 Draw (*.otg) documents to a certain folder, lets say c:\temp
 2. change the default template path via Extras - Tools - LibreOffice -
 Paths - Documenttemplates to point to c:\temp
 3. open template manager via File - New - Templates...
 4. click through each tab and see what templates are shown: you will see all
 the templates you created *EXCEPT* the template for the spreadsheed

With these steps, I can see .ots templates just fine.

Win 7 64-bit Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha2+

Hi, Could not reproduce with version 4.2.2.1 Ubuntu 13.10. The template is
shown in the Spreadsheet category under My template. Could you tell us what is
your operating system? Sophie

Experienced on Windows Server 2003 x64 and Windows XP x86 (both with lates
patches and SPs)
