No it is still there, at least on Windows builds, you'll see difference with a
mixed font formula like

1 over %alpha + 1 over {%alpha + 1}

Calculating the nodes "SmBinVerNode" results in different "nDenomDist" values
when the node holds OpenSymbol font, versus a mixed font node holding both
OpenSymbol & Liberation Serif.

In 7.0.1 can't see it on linux (Fedora official rpm).
I remember this also happened in previous versions.

Still there in current master updated and built today under Ubuntu 18.04
x86-64.

try this formula : { 4 X } over %pi

Workaround : add a small space before the Greek letter, for example:

{ 4 X } over {`%pi}
