I took the following steps: 1. Copied text from my web browser. 2. Ctrl+Shift+V in the writer. The result is a Paste Special dialog box indicating the source is Unknown and providing two options: either HTML or unformatted text. In my case I used the MacOS build of the 4.4.0.0.beta1 version. I am currently downloading the Linux version and will try it there when it's available. In the mean time I thought I'd find out if I got the steps correct.
