Since it's very unlikely anybody will ever care about nice names after mailmerge, just get some unique name in a fast way. I did a bisect however in performing the bisect I ran into a minor problem. It seems that the final step doing the mail merge and saving the result failed in some of the tested versions. This was performed on 43-all, of the builds tested that worked, I did not encounter a problem with the formatting, yet. Also it appears to exist on Mac OS 4.3.5.2. To confirm: 1. simple database (biliography) 2. drag fields in document 3. add few paragraphs and give number do mail merge and save result.
