I have never seen LibreOffice crash when I try to open my document, only when saving it. 2. Crash only occurs with FileSave. I can do FileSaveAs and choose a new name for the file, and the document saves without crashing. This may mean that corrupt document data is not an issue. My document is 1.1 MB (approximately 150 pages) and has many objects pasted in from a LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet, as well as a few PNG files, many tables and many cross-references within the document. Unfortunately, the document has much proprietary data and I cannot share it. The crash occurs when the save file progress bar is at the far right side of the window, apparently while zipping the file.
