To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present on a currently supported version of
LibreOffice

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the version of
LibreOffice and

No, I am afraid I don't have a blog. I guess we really hoped that this basic
type of function would have been incorporated in the Personalization function,
just like Firefox Personas Plus. With Firefox any user can manage their own
In-House personas. My solution is too complicated for the casual user, and I
think would not be suitable to include in the standard documentation. I guess
others would also need to check that it is applicable to other platforms and
language sets...

I put this document on this bug as I did not know where also to place it. 

There have been a number of questions, for example on ask.libreoffice.org about
the use of ones own theme. Or USE PRE-INSTALLED THEME, if available. Something
I have never  managed to get to work with my themes.

 Thanks for adding this. So ignore my last comment as a personal opinion.

I think your Description is important and useful. The current Personalization
screen seems rather clumsy, complicated and slow and makes it difficult to take
advantage of the Personas. This makes it difficult to casually add this little
friendly marketing touch to the look of a screen. My users are older than
average and sometimes a little wary of impersonal computer screens. 

I agree though, many people have no interest in changing the look of their
screens...

I am an enthusiastic user of Personas as it allows us to add a personal touch
to the system whether a business house style of to make the system more
friendly for the casual user. 

Ideally the Firefox / Thunderbird Personas Plus add-on shows what could be
done. I use it to test out and choose Personas that I create offline before
installing them on LibO. Failing that, a simple way to set up a default
Personas would be a great improvement.  Personas are discussed in 86544 and
59611 amongst others..Peter
