@Jens : file a separate bug report, rather than keep adding problems to your
initial one.

5.0.x is EndofLife since 29/05/2016.

No idea. You could ask on developer IRC channel or QA mailing list.

Seems to work with 5.2.2.

But what on earth happened to the Python interpreter? How am I supposed to run
UNO code on the Mac?!?!?

Steve, my default security settings are already "Mac App Store and identified
developers" so I did not make any adjustments there. Also, if that would be a
problem I think the warning would be different: it would tell me to adjust
these settings rather than tell me that the package needs to move to the Trash,
and the in the System Preferences panel the app that I just wanted to open
would show up as an exception.

Yes, I tried the right-click and "Open" as per my previous comment.

Jens, did you adjust the security settings and try the right click option?

Created attachment 120247
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=120247=edit
Opening LO 5.0.3 on OS-X 10.11.1

I can reproduce, and the suggested workaround of right-click and Open doesn't
work for me.

You need to adjust your security settings. System Preferences > Security >
General and there enable Mac App Stpre and verified devs.

Then when first starting LO, right-click > open.

Also see: https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/install-howto/os-x/
Very hidden and hard to find, as so often with opensource projects, you need to
take a few turns for getting to relevant information (:

Now, after many installations LibreOffice works now!
After copying the app into Programs it is necessary to press ALT until the app
is running.
Than the app can be started without to press ALT.

Now I started the LibreOffice.dmg directly after unpacking. LibreOffice starts
without any mistakes.
After copying to Programs start fails with damaged Libreoffice.app move to the
waste. Why?
