Bug ID: 97181 Summary: Formatting comments is enabled in menu Format even if there is no comment the writer document Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.0.2 rc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: lothar.bec...@riess-app.de Problem statement: The menue item "commenting" (in German "Kommentieren...") in the Format Menue is enabled even if there is no comment in a writer document. Hitting the menue item nthing happens. Comparing this behaviour with the "range" item (in German "Bereiche...") one above in the format menue it should be just enabled, if there is a comment in it simmilar to the range item, which is just enabled, is a range is defined and a format protery of a range could be manipulatetd. Steps to reproduse : 1. start LibO Writer with a blank document 2. see Menue Format and there "Kommentieren ...", it is enabled (see first screenshot with this report) (the "Bereich" is not enabled) 3. hitting on "Kommentieren..." nothing happens 4. do a range definition and a comment on the writer document 5. see Menue Format: "Bereiche..." is enabled (and hitting on it you can manipulate it (see second screenshot) 6. hitting in "Kommentieren..." you can manipulate the format properties of a comment Expected behaviour: Similar to the "Bereiche..." Item the "Kommentieren..." item should be disabled as long as there is no comment in the writer document and so it is not possible to manipulate a format propertiy of a comment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
