So I used > git checkout oldest and that got me the 5.1.0 version but: Opening a multipage document and choose File - Printer Settings: I can select duplex. When I OK it, and open the dialogue again, the setting is preserved. Then opening File - Print, choose Properties for the HP Officejet Pro 8100: the duplex setting is NOT on, I can set it, I OK the setting, and open the Properties again, the duplex setting is gone. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93120] Flickering of Thumbnails in Start Center while Moving the Mouse Pointer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93120 --- Comment #20 from Tor Lillqvist --- This flicker might be a generic problem with thingies that are displaying a tooltip. If you slowly move the mouse cursor between tool icons in the toolbar of Writer, for instance, so that the tooltip stays visible (and its contents switches as you move the cursor between icons), you will notice, now and then, that the icon you are leaving and/or entering flickers. Probably it is much more noticeable for the start centre thumbnails just because they are much larger and take a little longer to draw. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I've done a few experiments on various LibreOffices and Windows(7 and 8.1). This version is 4452 on Win 8.1. Basically can't get embedded video to play or show. Screen shot shows avi, mov and mp4. Avi shows thumbnail but doesn't play and the other two just show the grey box with question mark. This sort of needs to work. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91970] Stylesheet Underline & strike through are not visible
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91970 --- Comment #4 from sven-jac...@gmx.de --- Indeed, as stated in the specification the shd can be part of the pPr and also rPr. Within the pPr the whole paragraph gets a background shading, if defined within the rPr then the text run gets a background shading. If both are defined, then first the paragraph background shading is applied thereafter the text run shading. The documentation to the rPr shading can be found in the ECMA-376 Fourth Edition Fundamentals And Markup Language Reference.pdf on page 303 (17.3.2.32 shd Run Shading) Be it as it is, both shadings are having the "clear" value which means that no pattern is used -> no background is to be painted. The question is, why does this background pattern affect underline and or strike through attributing ? I'd love to see you file another report, providing detailed version info and exact repro steps in the form of 1. ... 2. ... 3. ... etc Then QA will try to reproduce and set your report to NEW if found reproducible. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 95573] EXTENSION MANAGER - freeze / hang when attempting to install extensions on OSX 10.11, installation confirmation dialog not displayed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95573 --- Comment #31 from Michael Meeks --- Lovely; thanks Maxim ! =) there is (in a nutshell) a busy loop re-setting the progress bar's status there from an idle handler; not great ! but then again the priority of that idle handler is low so it shouldn't -really- affect rendering or making progress here I think - I'm surprised that it seems to. And - wow, this code is just horrific =) again a load of state being updated at 'idle' (ie. now in a busy loop) that is simply not changed from one iteration to the next. Horrors. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97102] New: Re-work copy/paste 'orrible extensions dialog code...
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97102 Bug ID: 97102 Summary: Re-work copy/paste 'orrible extensions dialog code... Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.0.1 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Extensions Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: michael.me...@collabora.com There is a chunk of code in: desktop/source/deployment/gui/dp_gui_dialog2.cxx with some pretty bad practice on display. There is a large chunk of cut-and-paste coding between: IMPL_LINK_NOARG_TYPED(UpdateRequiredDialog, TimeOutHdl, Idle *, void) and IMPL_LINK_NOARG_TYPED(ExtMgrDialog, TimeOutHdl, Idle *, void) And that code itself should -not- be in an idle handler that runs all the time. Instead we should add an idle task whenever anything changes. The reason the code is done like this is to avoid needing to take the SolarMutex in the implementation that updates the progress etc. which is useful in several cases for UNO components etc. Anyhow - we should create a new (inside VCL) "ProgressBarAsync" class and encapsulate this functionality into VCL. The methods - such as updating the progress %age, and the text etc. should take effect only asynchronously in an idle handler -but- the idle handler should only be triggered when some state actually changes =) a new %age, new text etc. Then we should clean the cut/paste coding out of the above module. In LibreOffice Writer (Version: 5.0.4.2 Build ID: 1:5.0.4~rc2-0ubuntu1~wily1) the following irritating behaviour has recently started to happen. When editing a .docx text document with "Record track changes" selected, but also "Don't show changes" selected under Editing>Track changes, when I save the document these preferences are lost, and all changes are shown.
