Inventing new jargon is unlikely to help users, unlike sticking to existing
nomenclature. That is similar to the never ending attempts to replace the
floppy disk save icon with some of thing modern just because someone thinks
this will help users who never saw an actual floppy disk.

So i see that whatever fonts are set to be used for asian and ctl language
support, even though the fonts arent actually set to any text but are set in
various styles like the default paragraph and graphic styles, they will be
saved within the document.

On Windows 8.1, for asian support, Microsoft YaHei and SimSun are selected[1],
and it embeds SimSun, but strangely didnt for YaHei, but corrupts the SimSun
17.4mb file as it removes the first 32 bytes from its beginning. For ctl
support, Mangal is set and it embeds it totaling 377kb. A resulting blank
document with these fonts takes up 11mb.

On Linux Mint 18 (clean installation), for asian support, WenQuanYi Micro Hei
is selected and takes up 4.9mb, while for ctl support, Lohit Devanagari is
selected and takes up 137.5k, as it saves two copies of the same file. A
resulting blank document with these fonts takes up 3.8mb.

On Linux Mint 18 (with various MS fonts installed), for asian support,
Microsoft YaHei and SimSun are selected and take up 51.8mb, while for ctl
support, Lucida Sans is selected and takes up 127kb. A resulting blank document
with these fonts takes up 3.8mb. A resulting blank document with these fonts
takes up 32.9mb.

Separate from the asian and ctl support, LO saves Liberation Sans and Serif for
latin support which take up 2.8mb.

@Olivier: in your duplicate bug, what do you have set for latin, asian and ctl
fonts to get the whopping 94mb file you mentioned.

So all are fonts that lack Arabic support and the strings have mixed direction
(e.g. numbers or English text next to the Arabic), which further suggests it is
a duplicate.

This uno command is a contextual function that opens up the View > Zoom >
Zoom... dialog only when in print preview mode, so not sure what a suitable
label would be for it. Maybe 'Zoom (Print Preview Mode)...'

We have many labels in the menu that dont have the exact label as the dialog it
opens and that isnt a problem in my view, as long as it has the main keyword(s)

Yes, that commit guarantees that we will continue to get proper Windows
versions for display, even if program will run on a future Windows version.

- adds compatibility sections to our binaries' manifests claiming support of
Win7 through Win10, so this also "fixes" GetVersion* API results, but that
would fail on next Windows version, and is only meant to prevent us running in
compatibility (reduced) mode.

To clarify: Windows versions are not a float that can be rounded: they are a
series of integers, which are simply displayed using dot between them, so no
"rounding" is possible here. The "19" came from Microsoft for unclear reasons:
trying to use its recommended API (IsWindowsVersionOrGreater), we used to try
to find out the highest supported version and subversion numbers by starting at
a high value (30), decrementing by one, and asking that API if that version and
subversion are supported; and it returned true for subversion 19 on version 6
for Win10. See WinSalInstance::getOSVersion() changes in

Hello V Stuart,

I tried version 5.3.7 and the problem is solved on my HP computer with Radeon
card, even if the graphics card is set in Dynamic mode via the bios.

With version 5.3.6 it is necessary to operate the Fixed mode. When I switch to
Dynamic mode on the Bios, then the legend texts disappear, even if I assign the
Intel Energy Saving GPU to soffice.bin via the Catalyst Control Center
settings.

So I look forward to the official release of LO 5.3.7 to go back to Dynamic
mode!

which created a base-class VclReferenceBase for OutputDevice and
Menu and so moved isDisposed from OutputDevice to VclReferenceBase,
but *duplicated* the mbDisposed in VclReferenceBase so the
bit set by disposeOnce in OutputDevice was a different bit to the
bit returned by isDisposed from VclReferenceBase.

Description:
Adding button or context menu for customize of grouping in dialogue "Pivot
table layout", because:
You can't customize grouping for your field in list "Page fields"!
Now that customize grouping for any field in pivot table need in dialogue
"Pivot table layout" move needed field to list "Row Fields", then push "OK". In
pivot table select any cell in column with needed field and select menu
"Data>Group and Outline-Group", that customize grouping. Then need move your
field to needed list in dialogue "Pivot table layout", example to "Page
fields". 
It is a long Quest!
It is very hard and without help any user never will make grouping!
Need simplify this aspect of work with pivot table.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just try make grouping in your pivot table for any field


Actual Results:  
You need run a long and not obvious Quest for make grouping in pivot table

Expected Results:
You can make grouping in dialogue  "Pivot table layout" without without
unnecessary action

emfplus: for convenience added fallback
For development and to not be dependent of the progress
of the coming EMF+ importer, for now add fallback to
using the old Metafile importer, plus conversion to
primitive representation. That way the whole encapsulation
is ready and can already be used

On Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US with
Version: 5.4.1.2 (x64)

CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.19; UI render: default; 
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

With default rendering or OpenGL, LibreOffice uses the OTF builds, but when the
entire font family of the OTF set is installed the font preview, Characters
property dialog and document canvas would scramble.

Only Cooper Hewitt, and Cooper Std Black will show in the listbox, and even as
the installed fonts were added/removed by font name if just one of the family
was present they behave.

Bold/BoldItalic
Book/BookItalic
Heavy/HeavyItalic
Light/LightItalic
Medium/MediumItalic
Semibold/SemiboldItalic
Thin/ThinItalic

Add more than one pair, and when selecting some text and using the +B or
"Bold" std toolbar button would garble the text.

A diagram of a control system.

When I paste the attached drawing into Word, it loses the very bottom of the
image. The lower feedback line is visible in Libre Office Draw but not when
pasted into Word.

I can generate a .png file and that works when inserted into Word but direct
cut/paste from LO Draw to Word works better, in terms of image quality.

I am very impressed with Libre Office and use Draw for all my diagrams.

Just for note, as I am adding support to wb1's files in libwps(DLP) and the
encryption seems similar, this file contains a password structure: the zone 4b
of size 20:
- the first two bytes are a checksum of the password (which computed with the
first part of libwps::encodeLotusPassword),
- the 3rd and 4st bytes seems to be the password length(to be verified),
- the last 16 bytes can be used to decrypt the files with
QuattroParser::decodeStream.

which is, quite frankly, useless information in the sense that if one picks a
fairly random fixed value as the size of text instead of measuring it then its
faster to use that number and have wrong text size then measure the text and
have correct text size. Throwing "regression" around doesn't change that.

LibreOffice can only handle the four basic font styles (regular, bold, italics,
and bold italics) (bug 35538), so if you want to use this font in LibreOffice,
then you'll need to stick with the ttf.

Yes the characters property dialog does scramble, and only lists Bold and Bold
Italics as possible styles, and if i set the text in the document to bold or
bold italics, it scrambles.

The initial report still stands. The menu is flickery, but back to original
problem prior 5.3.2.2
Are more obvious example of the same problem: Tools -> Customize -> Menu Tab ->
Menu -> Hover over the Menu Dropdown box

Nice example: attachment 135045 from Bug 110794 that I closed as WFM. 
Simple test is to resize down LO window to 1/4 of size and then maximize and
than again. 5.2.7 somewhat slow, 5.3 very slow, 5.3.7 reverted.

Sample document

This is a bug a colleague has encountered and recorded as a video, where
clone formatting does not appear to be working, in particular the font
size from the heading is not transferred to the text body.

If I change the color of the heading and use clone formatting into the
text body, that works.

Similarly if I increase the font size of the heading and then repeat the
experiment, that works as well.


As an interesting side note: the file has been created with LibreOffice
on Windows and it also does not work there. The paragraph in font type
Calibri has been c'ed from Outlook into the document. (It should be
possible to change this paragraph with clone formatting though.)

To add words odd/even is Bug 45201.

I'm not sure how this was confirmed at all. 

Other reading would ask for that option under "General/Range and Copies" but I
don't find it acceptable for a lack of space. It's just tab away and it's not
widely used. Anyway, can be another bug if doesn't exist already.

Seems reasonable, it was also requested in bug 46200 comment 31 and in bug
111627 (which also seems to be about a bug, but needs more details from the
reporter).
I'm not sure why the feature should be deactivated by default, though, that
needs further reasoning. CCing the others who requested this before.

UX team, please suggest a configuration option for this.

This now occurs on my LODev master builds that I have installed to
/Applications, which uses an existing (LO5) profile, so the buggy behaviour is
no longer limited to profile-less installations.

Oops, I didn't notice this beforehand. Yeah, I tested the fresh 5.3 daily
build, and on the system which was affected by this bug since the start the bug
was still there (on another where it only started after 5.3.2 the bug was
gone).
