[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115325] Regression: Calc v6 opens .ODS file slower than v5
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115325 --- Comment #17 from Buovjaga--- When discussing on IRC, the point came up: is the increased time seen only during program startup? What if LibreOffice is already running, is the time still different? The screencast shows the file being opened without a running LibO instance and Xisco confirmed he tested in the same way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116636 --- Comment #6 from Julien Nabet--- Xisco: could you try to add another address book? Indeed, I got in Thunderbird: - "Collected Addresses" - "Personal Address Book" - "testjul" (for the test obviously) First 2 ones appear in LO but not the third one. When looking at ~/.icedove//prefs.js, testjul corresponds to abook-1.mab which isn't taken into account. On the contrary: "Personal Address Book" isn't referenced in prefs.js (or missed it) but should correspond to abook.mab. You must take into account compatibility versions. And this is not simple to test because extensions comp. is not updated. Probably it's an issue for specific ext. developers. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/geomap shows comp. up to 4.1 so it's expected update doesn't work. In https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/texmaths-1 then update check sometimes doesn't work (you must click Show all updates and then I get: An error occurred: Extra content at the end of the document. Line: 21. Column: 1) and sometimes works (offers new version) - looks like after a repeated check attempt. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/read-text doesn't offer an update although there's one. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/writer2xhtml also doesn't offer an update (from version 1.4) although there's one (v1.6). I tested master 6.1+ and 5.4. I set to New although it's not clear why this happens. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116674] New: Link table styles to paragraph style
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116674 Bug ID: 116674 Summary: Link table styles to paragraph style Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: high Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: tietze.he...@gmail.com CC: rayk...@gmail.com Blocks: 107553 Tables are added with the default table style, which is Serif/12 since 6.0 (bug 101349, bug 107554, bug 107555). If the paragraph has different settings, let's say handwriting style, the table doesn't take this style regardless what is set in the paragraph style Table Contents. Even worse, every time the table is modified (add/delete row/col) it's style is reapplied making any direct formatting pointless. The only workaround is to modify the table style itself, which is only possible via the legacy feature of autoformatting. Unchecking font in the legacy autoformat dialog is overridden on changes to the table. Two possible solutions come in mind: do not set font, alignment, pattern in the default table style (blocked by the missing XML serialization yet bug 49437) or link font to what is set under paragraph styles (error-prone as users can delete Table Content there or have different styles). And finally if the user applied direct formatting it must not reverted on any modifications to the table (likely a result of bug 115573). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116678] New: [FORMATTING, FILESAVE, FILEOPEN] TEXT function format code argument is not properly translated
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116678 Bug ID: 116678 Summary: [FORMATTING,FILESAVE,FILEOPEN] TEXT function format code argument is not properly translated Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.4.5.1 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: g.deth...@gmail.com Description: In LibreOffice Calc 5.4.5.1 with locale fr-BE, when editing an XLS file, the formula for formatting a date in a cell with TEXT function must be written TEXTE(DATE(2018;3;28);"mm") when function name translation is not disabled (which is the default). The equivalent English formula is TEXT(DATE(2018,3,28),"mm"). However, when saving this to a file and reading it with Apache POI library (https://poi.apache.org/), the persisted formula is TEXT(DATE(2018,3,28),"mm") which is OK except for the format string that has not been translated into "mm". Using directly the English format code ("mm") prevents the date to be properly formatted in LibreOffice but leads to the persistence of the right formula in the file. I would expect that: 1. TEXTE(DATE(2018;3;28);"mm") (or whatever internationalized equivalent) is properly persisted as TEXT(DATE(2018;3;28);"mm") 2. Disabling function name translation also disables format code translation (i.e. "mm" becomes a valid format code) Note that a possible workaround is to change the locale of LibreOffice to English via Menu > Options > Language Settings. Steps to Reproduce: 1. In LibreOffice Calc 5.4.5.1 with fr-BE locale, format a date using TEXT function e.g. TEXTE(DATE(2018;3;28);"mm") or TEXT(DATE(2018;3;28);"mm") without function name translation. 2. Save the file 3. Change LibreOffice locale to en-US 4. Open the file and see that formatting does not work as expected Actual Results: Cell contains text Wednesday01 Expected Results: Cell should contain text 201803 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 5.4.5.1 Build ID: 1:5.4.5-0ubuntu0.17.10.5 Threads CPU : 4; OS : Linux 4.13; UI Render : par défaut; VCL : gtk3; Locale : en-US (fr_BE.UTF-8); Calc: group User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I needed to run the registry cleaner several times to clean up all the problems. Please try to upgrade graphic drivers, reinstall application. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
