https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121556 --- Comment #4 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to Drew Jensen from comment #3) > I would of thought you would prefer to change the summary to deal with how > to launch the Customize dialog since that seems to have slipped through the > cracks during the time this feature was in experimental stage. > > Seriously since there no such thing, that I can see, as requirements > documents any longer Bugzilla is the only thing you have to track > requirements and the UI for getting to the Customize Dialog is a requirement. Don't see why standard toolbar or notebookbar would need direct access to the customization. This feature is not so often used that it needs to get exposed on the primary UI. And we should also not just duplicate the standard toolbar, so the on-the-fly customization (button on/off) is just not available. It was/is a vehicle for the standard toolbar to circumvent the inconvenient customization that was improved greatly in the last release. But the last piece in the request, the customization in general, is required and has a duplicate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Plus, changing the line style/color/thickness affects the user-defined line, which is also not perfect. Ideally we have the presets at the left column and all settings in the middle with a preview right-hand. The options for line should depend on the selection, ie. when clicking somewhere it adjusts to what is there. The mockup is a very rough illustration. When document A is opened in Calc, with manually added condition and format and saved as xlsx, the conditional format saved in xml is: When document A is opened in Excel2016, Excel reports a defective item and removes the conditional format from the document. When document A is opened in Excel 2016, with manually added condition and format and saved as xlsx (document B), the conditional format saved in xml is: http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/excel/2006/main;>LEFT(A1,LEN("-"))="-""-"A1:Z100 When opening again document B in Excel2016, Excel reports a defective item and removes a conditional format from the document, but not the manually added one. Opening the same ods on my Windows PC (120GB SSD, 16GB RAM) takes 3-4 sec. The interesting part is that opening the same ods in virtual Ubuntu Linux or Windows 10 (under Parellels on the same Mac) takes also 3-4 sec! It is nonsense that opening an ods faster on a VM than on the host OS, so it prooves for me that something is wrong with the Libreoffice on (my) mac, but despite of digging the internet for any solution I have not found anything. I tried to reinstall, I cleard my profile, tryed lot of settings without success. Asking the same question on ask.libreoffice.org has not answered. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121619] New: Data validity has problems if input data is changed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121619 Bug ID: 121619 Summary: Data validity has problems if input data is changed Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: laurentiusil...@gmail.com Description: Let's consider an .ods document which has two sheets: Sheet1 and Sheet2. On Sheet1 there are two cells which are filled-in with number 1 in the first cell and number 2 in the second one. On the Sheet2, I want to validate data of column A using the values 1 and 2 from Sheet1; so, I want to have in column A from Sheet2 only the numbers 1 or 2 from Sheet1. I go in Sheet2, I select column A and then go to Menu -> Data -> Validity -> Criteria -> Allow: Cell range -> select the range from Sheet1 (numbers 1 and number 2) and OK button. Everything works, but after this, if in Sheet1 number 1 is replaced by number 3, on Sheet2 the cells which have been filled-in with number 1, remain with number 1 and they are not changed with number 3 as they was changed in Sheet1. Is this an error? In my opinion it is because it should be the same situation like in A2=A1 and if A1 is changed from value 1 to value 3, the A2 will be changed with value 3, right? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121618] New: VIEWING: Sometimes the document displays the string !broken!! instead of the correct text
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121618 Bug ID: 121618 Summary: VIEWING: Sometimes the document displays the string !broken!! instead of the correct text Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.2.1 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: luke.kend...@gmail.com Created attachment 146906 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=146906=edit Screenshot of the area of the document showing the render error I have only noticed this today, several weeks after moving to 6.1.2.1. At times when I scroll text into view, instead of the text I expect to see, the string "!broken!!" or possibly "!br0ken!!" is displayed. See attached screenshot. I have only seen the document in one file I'm editing (the manuscript for my current book). The error seems to occur very occasionally, when I scroll the page down a little to reveal more text. It happened earlier today and I saved, exited LO, and then reopened all files. The error was cleared, document seemed fine. This time I decided to search for a mention of the bug, and when I failed to find a mention I started entering this bug. I selected the area of text pasted and it to a terminal window, confirming that the actual text was as expected. Scrolling away and back does not clear the error, but it worries me that some corruption may have occurred. Just now I "shaded" / "rolled-up then rolled down" the LO window, trying to get the correct text to appear, and now and LO has become unresponsive, and CPU has gone to 100% for the process. Can't click into the text body, can't make any menu pull down, can't use keyboard short-cuts. This applies to all four documents I have open currently. Has been locked-up for about 15 mins. I will have to Force Quit and hope I haven't lost too much work. Completed. Yes, all work after my last manual save had been lost. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121624] New: No toolbars visible & no View -> User Interface selected (after upgrade?)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121624 Bug ID: 121624 Summary: No toolbars visible & no View -> User Interface selected (after upgrade?) Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: w...@willthompson.co.uk When I launched LibreOffice Writer this morning, no toolbars or sidebars were shown: the window contained the menubar and a blank document. I opened the View → User Interface submenu and none of the 9 options were selected. When I selected (any) one, the toolbars & sidebars (as appropriate) reappeared. I'm not sure, but I haven't used LibreOffice for a while on this machine, so it's possible that an update had been installed since I last used it. I did not back up my user profile before trying to fix the problem, so I can't provide that. This sounds somewhat similar to the problems being discussed on bug 57466; I hadn't knowingly customised my toolbars, but I do dimly remember trying out the notebookbar when it was relatively new. Perhaps the mode I had previously selected had been removed? (I can reproduce the same symptom by editing .var/app/org.libreoffice.LibreOffice/config/libreoffice/4/user/registrymodifications.xcu and changing all occurrences of "notebookbar_groupedbar_full.ui" to "notebookbar_groupedbar_foobar.ui".) At Endless, we have also seen this once or twice during an openQA test run, on a freshly-installed OS image. No user state is persisted beyond what's created in the course of the test run, but it could be that LibreOffice was automatically updated during the test run, between two successive launches.
