[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69570] CAB file integrity is checked AFTER uninstalling previous version
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69570 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added See Also||https://bugs.documentfounda ||tion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11 ||7492 --- Comment #1 from Mike Kaganski --- This one is related, but not identical to, bug 117492. This one suggests to make some check before old version uninstallation phase. Possibly that could be done moving RemoveExistingProducts Action from before InstallInitialize (as it is now) to the position just following InstallInitialize - provided it's InstallInitialize which verifies the package integrity (needs checking), see [1] for discussion of RemoveExistingProducts placement. Unlike the problems with bug 117492, which requires major changes in many aspects of installer generation, this change might turn out to be safe. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124799 --- Comment #4 from Michael Meeks --- Ah - sorry for not being clear; I'm suggesting a: git grep osl_getEnvironment and consider how many uses outside sal/ make a legitimate distinction between NULL and empty environment variables. An: OUString aWastedLineAndNoFunctionNesting; if (new_getenv("FOO", aWastedLineAndNoFunctionNesting) == long_enumeration_value) { Do nothing that useful; } function_using_env(aWastedLineAndNoFunctionNesting); I would suggest is prettier as: function_using_env(new_getenv("FOO")); But of course - there is always the native C API if people want something more complex. Then again - using 'getenv()' is the progammers' choice anyway - with 320 hits - an order of magnitude more - presumably because it is easier to use, read, understand etc.. =) Otherwise amazing point on the MSVC exporting of inlines - that's rather interesting! quite possibly we should put the API somewhere higher up then where it can be simpler and better adapted for our uses-cases (?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124796] Calc shows excel file with incorrect plot, overlay y axis not adjusted
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124796 --- Comment #3 from Balázs Varga --- Created attachment 150851 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=150851=edit XLSX file with the same problem Thank you Xisco, for putting me on the CC List. :) There are two ways to solve this problem. First option is to handle it (in case of OOXML files) at the OOXML import filter, I already have a working patch for that. :) But I think the source of the bug is in the chart2 module. If you create a combined chart with a barchart and a linechart, one on the primary and one on the secondary axis, and delete the secondary axis, the primary axis will not be re-scaled. And why is that: because the dataseries is still attached to the secondary axis, which is not exist anymore. But maybe that could be another bugreport, and here just fix the OOXML import filter. I'm going to look at what options we have to solve this in the chart2 module too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124671 --- Comment #9 from Babak Razmjoo --- (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #6) > If on fedora, package name should be libreoffice-gtk3 This had been installed when i noticed this problem. OK that was a little weird. While ago I downloaded and installed Libreoffice 6.2.2.2 manually. That is, there are two versions of LibreOffice on my system. The version 6.1.5.2 is installed by default and I use applications menu to launch it. The usual method of launching the newer version is by calling 'soffice' from terminal; My PATH points to location of the manually installed version. Also I had set 'SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen' in ~/.bashrc That day I launched 6.2.2.2 from a terminal and tried to start a slide show for a presentation, but Impress would display a black screen. When I opened "About" window, It said it was version 6.1.5.2 and was using x11. Also if i issued 'soffice --version', it would report 6.1.5.2. Now I have changed my .bashrc to set SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk, and everything seems OK. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
