This bug report indeed needs an overhaul. I attempted to drag around the shapes (assuming those be selected). This wasn't the case, I some point I started Shift+ Clicking elements (but well those elements are not evenly distributed.. So not really an option.. Ultimate I found that select an Item and drag would work (what I actually tried was Shift drag square after clicking. Not simple drag after clicking an object. So I had a hard time to get what I wanted.. next question is.. me that stupid or this having really specific workflow. Select the full shape & paste it into Draw.. Now you can drag around the same to get a selection.. this is actually what I would desire/expect. But well Draw canvas is not writer canvas, so no clue if this doable -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I opened File->Properties ("Eigenschaften" in German), then user-defined properties ("Benutzerdefinierte Eigenschaften"). The I pressed "Eigenschaft hinzufügen" (add property). A new entry ("Name", "Art", "Wert" (name, type, value) appears BUT the input focus is NOT on "Name" (as users might expect). As soon as I type 'A' (Shift+a), the whole dialog closes! That seems true because of those three issues: 1) The focus is not on the new input field(s) 2) "Abbrechen" (abort) has 'A' as hot key 3) Shift+a, and not ALt+A (or Alt+Shift+a) triggers the abort. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140972] New: The "Find & Replace..." dialog box opens by default in the expanded version
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140972 Bug ID: 140972 Summary: The "Find & Replace..." dialog box opens by default in the expanded version Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.1.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: tv1...@yandex.ua Description: In LibreOffice Writer, when you open the "Find and Replace..." dialog box (Ctrl+H), it opens all the time in an expanded version ("Other options" is expanded). In previous versions, this dialog box appeared minimized "Other options" by default. This was the expected behavior. Also, when you click on the "Other options" item and close the dialog box - when you open the dialog box, it opens again in an expanded view of the dialog box (it does not remember the option). Considering that on small laptop screens this dialog box takes up a lot of workspace (and the need to use Other options does not arise often), it would be better if this dialog box were opened in a minimized form by default, as in previous versions. Or if this is an innovation and not a bug, please make it possible to save the opening state (with expanded or minimized "Other options") of this dialog box. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice writer 2. Open "Find and Replace" dialog box (Ctrl+H) Actual Results: Dialog box open with expanded Other options. Expected Results: Dialog box open with minimized Other options. So I can download that file and test it directly once you fix it. > > Last time it took me much time on looking for the files, but I couldn't find > them. LibreOffice's l10n framework is rather unique, and as far as I can tell the translated strings for an installed system are in some .xcd file in $INSTALL_DIR/share/registy/, likely one of those three with _zh-CN.xcd suffix. On Windows the default $INSTALL_DIR is C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\. These .xcd files are processed binary files, and there are not equivalent files on Weblate. Weblate just uses LibreOffice's regular .po files in the source code (if you are not familiar with .po files, please search for GNU gettext documentation). The .po files are converted to .xcd files during the build process, and I don't know the exact details. Sorry I can't help you much on this. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140952] windows10 update 10/3/21
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140952 --- Comment #4 from mejames1...@outlook.com --- Windows 10 security update of 10 April 2021 AMD RX570 8GB The video driver dated from 2019. Unfortunately I subsequently let AMD update everything and consequently my monitors do not get a signal (giving me another headache) so I can't be more precise since I can't, at present access my computer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52065] FORMATTING: LO mishandles the placement of a tab-stop following a center-aligned tabstop.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52065 --- Comment #12 from Justin L --- Nice. PostFormat and PreFormat commands with no comments indicating why one would want to pre-format or post-format. And what does LastTab really mean - especially when it is nullptr? In any case, we get this warning at the moment: sw/source/core/text/txttab.cxx:325: SwTabPortion::PreFormat: rush hour Reverting Cedric's patch still causes that one document to hang. However, revert and removing the "return 0" fixes everything.
