It's nothing but a sharp edge for users who have to go and find a setting - worse, you have to turn it off *every time* you print a new document of labels. I can see the argument that turning the setting off affects other use cases outside labels, but for labels it should always be turned off. I can see a few ways of doing it: 1. Detect/declare whether a document consists of labels, turn the setting off by default in that case. 2. Fix the problem earlier in the chain by modifying the label-producing code to alternate left and right pages (I understand this is the root cause of the issue). Still the volume of incedents is relatively low, not clear what mechanisim is causing this. Even resaving in Word works, despite its UI having a 55.87 x 55.87 cm limit on custom paper size - but it handles correctly the sizes greater than that, apparently. So something in the user profile was causing several problems. Since I did almost no customizations or changes to the profile before the problem occurred this is surprising. And I disagree with your statement that this is not a bug. Whenever a program repeatedly crashes there is a bug somewhere. Perhaps the issue lies in the user profile configuration data, but the program still crashes and from a user point of view is not robust. Maybe some kind of error checking on the user profile data, or a profile cleaner, or something, is needed to prevent this kind of experience. No, how would that be different than bug 106946, or earlier bug 36976 and dupes. They are *all* about eliminating the viewport shift the contextual TBs cause when opening in docked position. That is *NOT* a bug. That is a facet of implementation, and changing it to do something different is an enhancement. The context sensitive behavior of Toolbars (or the Sidebar Deck, or the NB Toolbar) is hard coded deep in the source. Only how that signal is handled is controlled by the UI mode. Gaining control over that--via alternate UIs, or a control framework for context sensitive action for individual toolbars--requries the same dev work. I have been able to close the Formula Bar and app, but not repeatably. --- A bunch of code changed in that commit, so it's hard to pick out what caused it, but presumably those who know it might have a better idea. I notice in ScAccessibleEditLineTextData (AccessibleText.cxx) existing isDisposed asserts were removed. How certain is it that mpTxtWnd isn't disposed? (These were commented out as "TODO" at one point?) Class ScTextWnd has a WeakReference xAcc, but in ScTextWnd::CreateAccessible it is set to a Reference instead.
