Re: [Libreoffice-qa] Cleaning up QA Nabble and Archive folders from Spam?
Robinson Tryon wrote: My general thought on lists that get spam and/or have a constant of new users using the list improperly is that you set everyone's moderation bit to be ON initially. Cloned the dev list's setup for the QA list, that should help quite a lot. Also added Florian Reisinger to the owners list for further tweaking of the spam rules. What will happen now is that known spam sources will have their mails held; sadly every once in a while that will also hit legitimate posters (when using the same provider), so some attention from the list moderators still appreciated. [Libreoffice-qa] [LibreOffice-QA] Public Conference Call May 17, 2013 - 1300 UTC
Hi All, Just a reminder that this Friday is our bi-weekly public call, anyone is welcome to join: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Meetings/2013/May_17 If you don't want to join often times there is some discussion happening on IRC at the same time at #libreoffice-qa on Freenode. [Libreoffice-qa] Method of Phone Call Friday
Hi All, So I want to clarify the plan for Friday in terms of how we are going to communicate. My pitch unless there are objections (from someone planning on attending ;) ) - 1. Try 5 minutes prior to 1300 to use talkyoo - if everyone connects successfully just do talkyoo and be happy for this time if there are *any* problems: 2. Switch to google hangout, see if we have any problems here, if not adopt this technology until a better solution magically comes about. I will start the hangout and invite everyone who wants to participate - if we're not already connected on Google+ please add me in the next day or two. I am willing to do a test run either tomorrow at 1330, or Thursday morning at the same time. I could go a little later or a little earlier (15 minutes either way) but it'll have to be a quick test (~10 minutes or less) as I have to get to work not long after. Thoughts? Ah I thought this was agreed upon last time, if there is something else that we want to try I'm game. I have Google + and Skype already set up, we want to set the bar pretty low for additional software/user names, etc...but let's just get a plan and go with it. [Libreoffice-qa] NEEDINFO Status Wiki
Hi All, I made a pretty basic wiki page for NEEDINFO status. This was per Rainer's suggestion that we keep the FDO response shorter (although it won't be one line) and explain the policy -- I hate using this word now :-/ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FDO/NEEDINFO Please feel free to add to it, we need some links on the bottom that I didn't look for yet, if someone has them handy feel free to add. Also if I need to clean something again, just let me know. I want to try a test run before Friday. Best, Joel P.S. Robinson - is location of this appropriate? People are most familiar with the labels, so I think it best to use those. Should we pluralize as Statuses or just leave as Status? I initially put the 'Component' field as QA/Bugzilla/Components/xxx, but now considering our other fields I think I might move those under QA/Bugzilla/Fields and use the exact label name of the field (So Component/xxx, Status/NEEDINFO, Keywords/zzz, etc..).
