Likely I'm doing something wrong, bug http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/log/?qt=rangeq=67ce08e2c64a6615abc90d3a3c442f90d86fa69 returns nothing for that commit against master, and there has never been an alpha tag there that I recall--as I always have queried for a commit by range against master. Is there an update that needs to propagate to cgit, or is this Windows Build ID bogus? There were big problems with the aplha1 builds. We did not test build with all languages before doing the tag. It went out that we needed several other fixes to finish the build. The guys did incremental build. They added the fixes into the build tree and pushed them later. The result is that the pushed fix got another commit ID than the one used during the build. I hope that it is not that big problem. It was the purpose of the alpha1 build to catch these problems. Anyway, we learned the lesson and will try to do more test builds before doing the tag next time :-) Best Regards, Petr It is actually pretty functional, I just get a bit lost sometimes as scope of the code base is way larger than anything I've followed in the past. The move to git is very new and shiny to me, so no doubt in my mind I miss things that should be obvious :-) Stuart -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/FDO-cgit-services-for-current-4-1-0-0alpha1-builds-tp4055215p4058487.html Sent from the QA mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
Re: [Libreoffice-qa] LibreOffice and Windows 2000
Hi Petr, all Isn't it possible to check for OS version and suggest the LO version accordingly? This would be a good test for the upcoming EOL of Windows XP, in less than a year from now :) It makes sense. Could you please report this into bugzilla and add ke...@suse.cz into CC? I am not sure if Kendy would have time to work on it but it might be a nice Easy Hack and he could add some code pointers. Re: [Libreoffice-qa] classifying bugs
Hi José, First of all welcome! José Guilherme Vanz schreef op 29/05/13 14:39: Hello, Folks! I was trying testing and simulating some bugs there are in the bugzilla and a doubt appeared. When can we set bug status for confirmed? Who do it? Great! Thanks for that. As an answer to your question: if you were able to confirm the mentioned behavior and you can't find duplicates around, you can set the bug status to 'NEW' for sure :-). Just make sure all required info is there, so others (and developers) can reproduce it to (like detailed steps, mentioned files/attachments are available, ...). Maybe a bit overwhelming when you first read the info in following links, but it'll be of great help for sure: * https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport * https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugTriage#Details_of_Steps If you have other questions, please don't hesitate :-). Once you have reproduced a bug, we mark it as NEW so that it can, from there on, be passed on to the developers. 2013/5/29 José Guilherme Vanz guilherme@gmail.com Hello, Folks! [Libreoffice-qa] Meta tracker for Sidebar feature created
Hi, I create a meta tracker for all bugs related to the new sidebar feature. See: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65138 Although this is still an experimental feature, we can test it to gather bugs related to this feature. To enable it: * Open LibreOffice * Tools Options LibreOffice Advanced * Check Enable experimental sidebar (on restart) * Restart LibreOffice * Open Writer for example * View Sidebar Kind regards, Joren ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
