I'm pretty sure that there's tons of old NEW bugs that have turned
into WORKSFORME bugs during LibO development... take a look at this
list: http://snipurl.com/29d9hu5

these are 24 old bugs that user Beluga (I think's he's one of the new
faces in QA) retested last week and now are gone.

I wonder how many of those exist in the 7K list of the NEW bugs.

I actually ran some tests and pinged users in this category - terribly
low response rate :-/

Best,
Joel

P.S. You can query the qa-admin account for comments and see the bugs
that I touch with that account to get an idea.

could you please give a direct link... I'm not very good with bugzilla
queries :-(

[Libreoffice-qa] Crashers

2014-10-22 Thread Joel Madero
Hi All,

We currently have *21* unconfirmed bugs that have something about
crashing involved. Would be fantastic to get these confirmed:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&chfield=short_desc&chfieldto=Now&f1=short_desc&list_id=483505&o1=anywordssubstr&product=LibreOffice&query_format=advanced&short_desc=crashes%20hang%20freeze%20crash%20segfault%20segfaults%20halt&short_desc_type=anywords

Of course with these in particular it's nice to:

 1. Prioritize correctly (if confirmed - major, critical)
 2. MAB if appropriate
 3. Check out if it's a regression
 4. Bibisect if possible

Thanks all for the hard work!

Best,
Joel
