Hi, I do not thinks that one blocks the release of 4.3.0. * Although webquery is an important feature, I think not a lot of people use it in Calc to do daily jobs. Hi all, Today when I was trying to install LibreOffice Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha1+ (.deb version) Build ID: 227af32d8c6d5e3649c83fcdb274298bc7faa294 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86@45-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-05-20_22:12:00 OS: Ubuntu 14.04 lts x86, It says each package depends on XXX version = 4.3.0.0.alpha1, but 4.3.0.0.alpha1-1 is beening installed. Apparently 4.3.0.0.alpha1-1 is not = 4.3.0.0.alpha1. Not sure if the same issue exists in rpm builds. Should someone take care of this? or should I raise a bug report? Thanks. two finger touchpad scrolling is: when you touch on you touchpad and move up-and-down, it is the same as moving the vertical scroll bar; When you touch on you touchpad and move left-and-right, it is the same as moving the horizontal scroll bar. Now I can see that bug is confirmed. However within that bug reported that (bluetooth is not usable in my android 4.1 device and my fedora 20 pc, even if I disable the firewall deamon.) I am not sure if it's a fedora bluetooth bug or a libreoffice bug and im not aware of a way to reproduce. Latin covers the western languages such as English, French, German etc, Asian covers Chinese, Japanese, Korean (and Vietnamese?), and Complex covers Arabic, Hebrew etc. If you see a bug report that claims Calc freezes after doing ABC, and it only does in the new 4.2.0 release (or beta and RC before that), check the content of the file and see if it has mixed script types. If so, it may be caused by the same root cause as the above bug. Please re-check those bugs again with the build that contains the fix for that bug. I've browsed through bugzilla last night, and I saw quite a number of them that may fit the profile. printing a spreadsheet with computations on decimal numbers, produces always a data loss because numbers are rounded. But you do not loss any data in your spreadsheet, only on the paper. Printing acts as a filter, it keeps some data and leaves out some others. You must manage that. This bug is a different thing with decimal. The big problem is, what you see on screen is much different from what you get on print. At a IT professional's point of view, this can be managed by merging cells, using an earlier version of LO when print, etc. But, at a normal user's point of view, this is disaster and may keep him avoid using LO. * One may have many spreadsheets created by earlier versions of LO which contains many long text flowing outside cells (just like me). When upgrade to 4.2, he has to manage this when printing. Think about the situation when your boss want you to print some spreadsheets and he need the papers in 10 minutes, what will you do? Keep in mind that this situation is true everyday in the office. * All office suites, including MSO, WPS, Apache OpenOffice, and LibreOffice, they all have out-flowed text when the next cell is blank, and what one see on screen is what we see on paper. * I am sure 50%+ of the daily users need to export their spreadsheets to PDF, or print them on paper, or just print preview to see what they look like, before sending to others. For me, I will not upgrade to 4.2 unless this bug is fixed. But how about for those who are not aware of this behaviour? Hello QA team, I found a critical, regression, and probably blocker bug for 4.2.0 RC3, see: https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=74009 (When the cell value text is outside of a cell width, the outside part are not printed) Although it's not yet confirmed in the bug system, I have tested and reproduced both in Ubuntu 13.10 and Windows 8, so it's 100% reproducible. Hope this be fixed before 4.2.0 release. Thanks.
