Apart from the advises from the others, I think that - in the current state of the project - it might be useful to ask devs that do a lot on interoperability, such as miklos, kendy, mstahl, ... if it makes sense to focus on a particular area. Reason: there are lot's of issues on all kind of iterop issues, and maybe pulling issues in the same funcional area together is useful for them to support the work. Not to understand well. When images and table has been lost? If it is after MSO users saved the file the problem is probably in MSO. Which anchor did you use for the pictures? Any document other than plain text can not be sent back and forward because LO still doesn't handle doc/docx that well and MS refuses to handle odf properly (it would be bad for business ;) ) I believe this is a know fact and the main reason why people prefer to pay (or hack) MS Office rather than use a free suite like LO / AOO... The only common language is PDF (which unfortunately is not an editable format...) Hi Joel, Please send the files to me as well And: doc should work okay, but docx IMHO ia still a pain in the neck (Word until 2003 created and all versions, which read doc, works. Doc files created by 2007 could be a problem, because MS might save some bits for "new versions only" in the doc, but I hope they don't. Docx is a pain, because MS didn't implement their standard as the "standard way to safe such files".
