I guess this feature request needs input from the UX team?

I had a look on the Shortcut keys help file, and there doesn't seem to be any
support for this on other platforms either

I think this behavior is expected. What you define in the middle is taken for
the next operation.

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 99615] No way to accept autocomplete and continue typing in the cell (without exiting and returning)

2018-06-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99615

Basically I agree and would suggest the cursor right key jumping to the end.
But in order to allow quick input we jump to the next cell per cursor; and to
evaluate if the current cell editing mode includes an autocompleted text sounds
confusing and inconsistent. So if we go ahead with this change we have to
accept a serious regression.

Please provide a step-by-step description of the issue.

If I define a print range (select a1:c3; Format > Print Ranges > Define) and
clear it afterwards the selection remains as it is.

Alignment is definitely a good to have, though not crucial. Removing needsUX,
setting importance to low.
