The positon changed because of security reasons - you have to store private data . We have a per session memory taking the initial value from options. There is no reason to change the application-level default to resolve this per-document bug. When you create a style with indentation, like the quotation, it also applies
the fill color only for the actual paragraph. Lists add margins so I'd say it's
the expected behavior.
Related issues are bug 94562, bug 83532, and bug 114287 ("paragraph style
overrule list style settings" contradicts my upper statement).
