[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 70953] Always list last three used languages
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70953 --- Comment #7 from lvm --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #5) > Wonder if the menu lists a) the languages used in the document or b) what > has been used in the current session. The first makes more sense and speaks > against remembering the last used languages. In case of b) we could indeed > have some persistence. a) doesn't make sense at all when creating a new document. In fact, it is a huge nuisance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 116948] Add possibility to move columns/rows in a table in writer (like AmiPro/WordPro did)

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 70953] Always list last three used languages
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70953 --- Comment #6 from Mike Kaganski --- IIUC, the menu does not list last used languages, or even languages used in the document. Instead, it lists some *guessed* languages, that *might* fit one's needs in a specific text, but generally would often create surprise. See bug 139185 comment 4 (and generally that issue). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 70953] Always list last three used languages

The first makes more sense and speaks against remembering the last used languages. In case of b) we could indeed have some persistence. Checking with v7.3 it seems to be a fact, resolving WFM. Please reopen in case this is wrong. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 145966] [PIVOTTABLE] Add =GETPIVOTDATA(...) formula when referencing data inside a pivot table
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145966 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added CC|libreoffice-ux-advise@lists |heiko.tietze@documentfounda |.freedesktop.org|tion.org Keywords|needsDevEval, needsUXEval | --- Comment #3 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #2) > So the question is a) does inserting a formula helps to understand how to > use it, b) what benefit does this have (the result is the same as with =B3), > and c) what type of formula to use. > > Me struggles with b) and somewhat a). Answering myself: Benefit of =GETPIVOTDATA("";A1) over =A1 is clearly to keep the value even when the table changes. Plus, it educates the users to use the right functions. So let's do it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 143458] large tables can't be resized easily
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=143458 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |NEEDINFO --- Comment #11 from Heiko Tietze --- After reading this again I presume it's about inserting a Calc sheet as object. Don't see how we can solve it. If we talk about Writer tables, example in comment 5 after rotating to portrait, I'd say the dialog offers sufficient means to change the table width. Wouldn't add means to deal with content out of the canvas. But again what kind of table do you have in mind? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
