[Bug 160881] Forms: Checkboxes and Radiobuttons couldn't set readonly, only could set disabled
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160881 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX --- Comment #4 from Heiko Tietze --- Simple controls such as checkboxes, radiobuttons, and pushbuttons don't have an editable resp. readonly property by default. If such thing would exist you cannot know as user why clicking a button has no effect. That's indicated and perfectly applied via the enabled state. Just use a label to show the information and use the visible/enabled option for conditional scenarios. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

[Bug 161149] Cancel all ability to apply direct formatting, and only allow formatting via styles
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161149 --- Comment #3 from Eyal Rozenberg --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #2) > Really, Eyal? > > -1 Hey, it's not my opinion (at least, not in a world when most people are used to MS Office). But I want people who oppose this suggestion to explain why keeping DF is important and useful and needed, and why we should fail to promote the use of styles by forcing every formatting to change the style. If they make such an argument, then let's close this bug, by all means. But we'll also open bug 161078, by their own arguments. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

[Bug 98902] Right clicking on selected text unselects it if the cursor is on a misspelled word

The way Impress handles spelling errors looks very convenient and should be made available in Writer as well. Some blocker may result from the missing capability to deal with phrases (introduced for bug 154499). What do you think, also regarding feasibility and effort László? As an improvement we should keep the user-selection but overlay it with the spell-check color.
