[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 133101] UI: Character style invisible in the toolbar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133101 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added CC|libreoffice-ux-advise@lists |heiko.tietze@documentfounda |.freedesktop.org|tion.org, ||mikekagan...@hotmail.com, ||qui...@gmail.com Keywords|needsUXEval | --- Comment #4 from Heiko Tietze --- The request was to show CS on the toolbar. CS/PS are unlimited lists, supposed to be extended by users. Whatever we do beyond the S deck (and similar views) is doomed to fail. However, there is an ongoing GSoC project which aims to provide better feedback on applied PS and CS. Just feedback. Still NAB in my opinion (or WF if enhancement). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-ux-advise mailing list Libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-ux-advise

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 133101] UI: Character style invisible in the toolbar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133101 RGB changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rgb.m...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from RGB --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #1) > We introduced the "Formatting (Styles)" toolbar that can be used as > replacement or in addition to the standard formatting toolbar. It had CS > items including Emphasis and Strong Emphasis on it that respond correctly to > the format. It's not by default on the standard toolbars to keep the width > below the defined maximum. But you can customize it... While the "Formatting (Styles)" toolbar shows a couple of character styles (and you can add a couple more to it), the main problem is still not solved: there is no other way to apply/see character styles other than the full style editor. There is a lack of a control to show/apply character styles as there is for paragraph styles. See Bug 88512 - TOOLBAR/SIDEBAR: Character style drop down control uno command Indeed, the "character style" control that appears under "show more buttons" in that toolbar is only a placeholder that toggle the paragraph style control instead. So, I'm not sure the "worksforme" tag is appropriate here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-ux-advise mailing list Libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-ux-advise
