[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 88666] Auto-Capitalization of paragraphs and new lines i/o sentences
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88666 Heiko Tietzechanged: What|Removed |Added Keywords|needsUXEval | --- Comment #3 from Heiko Tietze --- The majority of users likely do not write poems every day, and the first sentence after salutation is also not necessarily capitalized (your example would be wrong in German). So I'd say the feature is better realized with an extension. But if a developer would implement another option like "Always capitalize after return" which is off by default it won't hurt the average users. And for sake of consistency with Impress it makes sense to introduce this option. In Impress it's known as "Capitalize first letter of every sentence". Was looking for a workaround with bullet lists where indentation is set to zero and the bullet char is hidden. Maybe I'm wrong. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-ux-advise mailing list Libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-ux-advise

Known behaviour since the old days.. You did set component to Writer, but I expect that other modules have the same behaviour. I wonder what ideas others have for this request..
