[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 88802] Editing Labels - label wizard allows incomplete or erroneous field names to be inserted into layout window
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88802 Heiko Tietzechanged: What|Removed |Added Keywords|needsUXEval |easyHack CC|libreoffice-ux-advise@lists |tietze.he...@gmail.com |.freedesktop.org| Component|LibreOffice |Base --- Comment #9 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #7) > 1) disable arrow if database or table or field not selected Go with option 1 and disable functions that temporarily make no sense / are out of scope / need further specification etc. In this example I cannot imagine any case where a database without table or with table but no specified field would be of interest (e.g. as a dummy field). So yes, please do the change. In fact, the pb appears even when you don't choose any database and just click on arrow button. ux-team: what should be done here? 1) disable arrow if database or table or field not selected 2) a popup which appears with error message (with lacking fields) 3) other? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-ux-advise mailing list Libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-ux-advise
