[LIB] Windows 95 Task Monitor
Date: 21 Oct 2005 20:36:57 - From: Mark Stevenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Windows 95 Task Monitor Someone mentioned they were looking for a task monitor similar to task manager in XP but for earlier versions of Windows. Microsoft actually produced one for Windows 95 which I have installed and used. I don't have an exact link but the program was called WinTop, and shows a dynamic list of processes and cpu usage. Hope this helps. Mark -- Protect yourself from spam, use http://sneakemail.com

As I recall, the drivers should be something like ct555w95.exe: ** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ - Archives ---TO UNSUBSCRIBE--- Reply to any of the list messages. [LIB] Video Drivers
Date: 12 Aug 2004 16:10:57 - From: Mark Stevenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Video Drivers Hi there, I have a 70CT running Win 95 and IE 5.5 . I'm looking for the most up to date video drivers for this model. I did find a Chips driver file (Win95500.exe) which was supposed to work with the VL bus 65550 chip but it said there was no HiQ display available. The version I have installed now is 4.0.2252 which dates from 1998. Is this the latest approved issue? The reason I ask is to do with MSN messenger which shows a spinning icon during logging in. This is badly corrupted on my display with flashing background and other strange effects. Many of the links to drivers for the 70CT seem to be dead so any help would be appreciated. [LIB] PCMCIA Wireless Lan Cards on Libretto 70
Date: Wed, 2 Oct 2002 00:08:22 +0100 From: Mark Stevenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PCMCIA Wireless Lan Cards on Libretto 70 Thank you to Martin, Raymond, and Joseph. Your answers were most helpful - I'm now on the lookout for one of the recommended cards. Would you happen to know if the Dell Truemobile 1150 card is of the same 5V Lucent background? It does not have exactly the same plastic cover on the end but seems to have a similar RF part number Thanks again Mark ** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ - Archives ---TO UNSUBSCRIBE--- Reply to any of the list messages. [LIB] PCMCIA Wireless Lan Cards on Libretto 70
Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2002 11:26:48 +0100 From: Mark Stevenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PCMCIA Wireless Lan Cards on Libretto 70 Hello there, I'm trying to go WiFi (11Mbps) Wireless on my Libretto and am looking for the lists recommendations. I have a 70CT which, as I understand it, has a 16 bit PCMCIA slot (not cardbus) - Right? So I have just purchased an Intel 2011B PC card which is indeed 16 bit BUT requires 3V supplies not 5V so it will not fit the slot. Never mind I can use it elsewhere. However can anyone who has got a 70CT to work on a WiFi Lan please let me know what model of adaptor card you are using, and any issues. I'm still using Windows 95 R2, and don't really want to change, and a lot of the WiFi card drivers seem to need Win 98. With thanks in advance for your help. [LIB] Memory expansion for 70CT
Date: Fri, 26 Apr 2002 20:21:02 +0100 From: Mark Stevenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Memory expansion for 70CT Hello there, I'm trying to confirm that a memory expansion card (16Mb) out of a libretto 50 will also work in the faster libretto 70. Is this true? The 50 has a cpu speed of 75mHz but the 70 has a cpu speed of 120Mhz but I'm not sure what speed the memory interface runs at. Were all the memory expansions (both tosh and other suppliers) rated for both the 70 and the 50 models. Any help welcome. Thanks in advance.
