Re: Question about HTML::Form
There doesn't seem to be any current maintenance on the library from what I can make out. I wonder whether we need to find a new maintainer? (I am not volunteering). Re: Question about HTML::Form
I had recommended a patch about a year ago for HTML::Form. At the point in time Gisle had said he wasn't in a mode to be applying LWP patches but that he would get to them. Gisle - Any idea when the next release will be made? ---Alex On Tue, Apr 1, 2008 at 11:53 PM, Andre-John Mas [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: There doesn't seem to be any current maintenance on the library from what I can make out. For the last 1½ year I've only been doing Python/Django/JavaScript work but the plan now is to reboot myself as a Perl hacker and reclaim a spot in the Perl group at ActiveState. Part of the reboot is to start using git instead of cvs at Sourceforge to track LWP and my other modules. The old CVS repos have now been converted and I'm starting out using gitorious.org for hosting the repos. The hosting might change in the the future, but for now that's the place to clone from if you want to hack on LWP using git[1]. I'll start working my way through the backlog of patches and RT bugs now, but it will be some weeks until you see a release. --Gisle [1] see http://gitorious.org/search?q=category%3Alwp

I was going to add a ticket via rt.cpan.org but it has been reported already: http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=15047. I noticed that the ticket in question is two years old though. I expect you are busy but wondered if a) you intend to provide a fix anytime soon or b) if not, whether I could patch and release the distro on your behalf? Thanks, WH
