[Linphone-users] linphonec segmentation fault

2010-08-05 Thread Monali Bhattacharya
Hi,I've cross compiled the linphone-3.1.0 for the ARM board. Once ported there
at the time of starting getting the error Segmentation Fault. Giving the
command linphonec -d 6 it shows:

ortp-message-oRTP-0.15.0 initialize
ortp-message Registering all files
ortp-message Registering all soundcard handlers
ortp-message Loading plugins
ortp-message-Cannot open directory /opt/linphone/lib/mediastreamer/plugins: No
such file or directory
ortp-message-ms_init() done
ortp-message-Cannot open directory /opt/linphone/lib/liblinphone/plugins: No
such file or directory
Segmentation Fault

Can anyone guide how to solve the problem?

Thanks and Regards

Re: [Linphone-users] linphone on Android

2010-05-03 Thread Monali Bhattacharya
Hi,
I've downloaded the org.linphone.apk from the internet and tried to run it
but it is getting crashed. Is there any source code available which i can
cross-compile according to my system requirement. I'm porting it in OMAP
processor based board and not in mobile phone.

Thanks
Monali

Hi Monali,

As far as I now, ethernet connections are not very well handled by the
Android network manager. Today, Linphone for Android rely on network states
reported by Android to send register messages. Linphone for Android could be
easily modified to automatically detect network state (like in the Linux
version). Just remove calls to Linphone.setNetworkStateReachable and set
the auto_net_state_mon attribute to 1 in the sip section of linphonerc.

Cheers

Jehan

 Hi,
Is there any option of Linphone in Android without WiFi and only Ethernet
 connection?

 Hi Yves,

Unfortunately, stun server setting are not implemented yet. Thanks to
rport/received fields Linphone is most of the time, aware of its public
 address.

 Cheers

Is there a way to set a STUN server in Linphone on Android?

(don't have/want a data plan, and am using it with NAT'ed wireless)

[Linphone-users] linphone-3.1.0 alsa not showing

2009-12-28 Thread Monali Bhattacharya
hi, i've cross-compiled the linphone-3.1.0 for the ARM board without video. The
soundcard view command shows only OSS-/dev/dsp but no alsa.is it correct or
i've missed out something? i can hear through the headphone connected with the
board but the microphone is not taking the input. I've tried using the amixer
set command but of no use. Please suggest some solution.
Thanks

Hi,

try to compile mediastreamer with --enable-alsa option.

Also, check during configuration, alsa headers can be found..

this is a problem with the microphone? Thanks for your help.

Check that your mixer settings allow you to record from the mic with another
app like arecord.
Check that you can record with linphonec - use the record command in the
linphonec cli
Check that rtp packets are going from the arm to the pc, and that the pc is
receiving them not dropping them
