vmware 5 en ubuntu 7.10
Hola señores: Les comento que tengo instalado ubuntu 7.10 y quiero instalar vmware para poder ejecutar unas aplicaciones para guindous que no estan para linux. Realizo la instalacion, antes de esta realice la instalacion de otros paquetes que necesitaba y cuando voy llegando a un punto en la instalacion me aparece lo siguiente: Trying to find a suitable vmmon module for your running kernel. Comentario personal, hace como un mes y medio instale VMWare Workstation en mi ubuntu 7.10, y no me arrojo ningun inconveniente en la instalacion(VMWare WorkStation 6, solo no puede hacerlo correr en Bridge. Claro a menos de que sea por algo demaciado especifico que nececites usar vmware, yo recomiendo para levantar una maquina windows virtualbox. crear un bridge levantar un tap0 y virtualbox con tu windows usando esa interfaz de red, anda de pelos, yo tengo varias xp en mi pc para cuando nececito hacer pruebas. y para los linux, xen a ojos cerrados.
