Re: [OCLUG-Tech] looking for recommendations for portable MP3/FLAC music player
I'll concur on the Sandisk. In 2016 I got SanDisk Clip Sport 8GB MP3 Player from shopRBC for $50. I just checked and it's still available for that price. Not as good as a genuine iPod (too much hassle running itunes in Windows VM) but has been working fine. It has 8GB but also a slot allowing you to add a micro SD card. roland On Mon, Feb 5, 2018 at 6:19 PM, Alex Pilonwrote: > On Mon, Feb 05, 2018 at 04:41:46PM -0500, Robert P. J. [OCLUG-Tech] FYI - April 5 OCLUG meeting
http://oclug.on.ca/ OCLUG meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm April Meeting: Python 2 and Python 3 Date: April 5, 2011 at 7 p.m. Location: Algonquin College (Woodroffe Campus), room A119 Gnews: Speaker: various The meeting will begin with our semi-regular Gnews session that briefly highlights New to Linux beginner topics and other Linux tips. Seeking OCLUG Board Candidates: Elections for the OCLUG Board of Directors are being delayed until after the Ottawa IPv6 Summit. Several of the existing board members are moving on so we are seeking new board members. Ottawa IPv6 Summit: Although not a beginner topic, Bart Trojanowski will give an introduction to the Ottawa IPv6 Summit planned for April 29, 2011. Python 2 and Python 3: Speaker: Ian Ward This is an introduction to the Python programming language and its two current major versions. Why might you want to use Python? How does it compare to other languages? Why are there two incompatible versions? Language basics, the Python language development process and alternative Python interpreter implementations will be covered. Differences between Python 2 and Python 3 will be discussed as they releate to each topic. This talk is targetted at people familiar with any other programming language. The presenter understands that OCLUG may not be the friendliest environment to talk about Python but politely asks that rotten vegetables and other throwables be left at home. ___ Linux mailing list Linux@lists.oclug.on.ca http://oclug.on.ca/mailman/listinfo/linux
