I don't have an answer to that question, but if you don't get a solution
here, maybe you should post your question to the ubuntu-users list. You

A friend of mine recently bought a "WIN-TV NOVA T-LITE DVB-T STICK". The
box is marked with "model 308" (it is a German version). This item is
supported, it wants to load the firmware dvb-usb-dib0700-01.fw. The same
supplier has another model called "HAUPPAUGE NOVA T DVB-T STICK RC" - I
have no idea if it is supported. The difference seems to be that the
non-lite version is delivered with an additional remote control, which
nearly doubles the price :)

Found it on a German forum:

Search for the filename - there is a download link.

Run "make xconfig", select "Multimedia devices" go to "DVB for
Linux" -> "DVB/ATSC Adapters" select "Alternative driver for Terratec
Cinergy T2/quanu USB2 DVB-T receiver" and deselect "Terratec Cinergy

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I did reboot. So, something seems to be
wrong with the use counter.

OK, that makes sense.

I removed the old CinergyT2.ko and the warning no longer appears. However,
after I unplug the device, lsmod still shows this:

Thanks for the patch. I tried it, it _nearly_ works for me. I could

[linux-dvb] Problem when unplugging Cinergy T^2

2007-09-17 Thread Nils Kassube
Hi,

with my Cinergy T^2 there is a problem when I unplug the device. Top shows
that khubd uses 100% CPU. My system uses Kernel 2.6.21.1 + latest v4l-dvb
modules from . With the original kernel
modules there is no problem.

How can I help to fix the problem?
