Dennis,
Kernel backwards compat has been broken in the master branch against older
kernels... Until it's fixed, you can use one of my devel trees, which still
builds fine against older kernels...
Instead, try:
http://linuxtv.org/hg/~mkrufky/dvb-pll
You shouldn't have any problems there.
